Greenpeace Essity Poop Campaign
In 2017 Greenpeace discovered that Essity, the company behind the tissue paper brands Velvet, Cushelle and Tempo, were destroying pristine forests in Sweden and Russia to make toilet paper.
So what better way to communicate the campaign against Essity’s brand than a talking shit, well, poop emoticon to be precise. And the Poop is upset, pleading with Essity to not wipe away forests on it’s behalf.
Taking the campaign out of the toilet, in the same graphic style on Social Media macros put words in the mouths of the wildlife having their environment destroyed.
